existing platform and output it directly to web pages. It does not require any specific keyboard layout and language
settings. Instead, it has all the necessary keyboard layouts built-in and ready for use. All you have to do
is select the desired language and start typing. Virtual Keyboard, being a small, handy, well-designed and easy to use
application, turns into a perfect solution for cross platform multilingual text input.
What are the main features of Virtual Keyboard?
The main features are: platform-independent multilingual support for keyboard text input, built-in language layouts
and settings, copy/paste etc. operations support just as in a regular text editor, already existing system language settings
remain intact, easy and user-friendly interface and design, and small file size.
How exactly does Virtual Keyboard work?
Virtual Keyboard is available as Java applet and Java-script. It uses a special API to interact with a web page. You can invoke its public methods
from Javascript to perform certain tasks such as Launch Virtual Keyboard, Move the Virtual Keyboard window to exact
screen coordinates, etc. The application also uses a bound text control to transfer the text to/from the page.
Do I need Sun JDK/JRE to run Virtual Keyboard?
No, you don't. Virtual Keyboard will run under all Java enabled major browsers.

Virtual Keyboard currently supports IE 5.x-6.x and NS 4.7-7.0 on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP and NS 6.2 on Linux, Mac.
How do I embed Virtual Keyboard into my web pages?
You should use Form Wizard to add Virk to your pages. It will guide you step-by-step
through all the necessary options. Or you may manually paste Virtual Keyboard HTML code.

Can I run Virtual Keyboard on my home computer locally?
Yes, it is possible. Virtual Keyboard does not require any server-specific processing. All it needs is one of the major browsers
with java support. However, the application still needs to be properly embedded into your page first. The detailed instructions

Is it possible to place Virtual Keyboard into a rectangular area within a page?
Currently, Virtual Keyboard does not support such mode of operation. It normally runs in a floating window.
Does Virtual Keyboard replace my existing alternative keyboard layout?

How do I copy/paste text using Virtual Keyboard?
Use the standard keyboard combinations such as Ctrl-C (Copy), Ctrl-V (Paste), Ctrl-X (Cut).
Do you plan to support other languages/layouts?
Yes we do. We are always looking forward to support even more languages and keyboard layouts.
What is the purpose of TT/FF button?
This button toggles graphics font mode display on and off. Virtual Keyboard uses a special built-in font to display characters in
all non-english layouts. This font does not depend on your system. If some text appears as gibberish, question marks
or squares try switching to another display mode.
How do I select the layout?
Just click the button in the lower left corner of the Virtual Keyboard window to select the desired layout
and start typing text.
Can I stretch/change the initial size of the Virtual Keyboard window?
Application window was carefully designed to fit all the required buttons and controls. In the current version, window size is fixed.
Are there any different skins for Virtual Keyboard?
Currently, there's only one skin for the Trial version. But we plan to support several custom skins in the future.
